George joined the team as a volunteer in 2024 and joined the board in 2026.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minor in biology from URI, where he was a co-captain of the URI rugby team. Now retired, he worked in the defense, consumer electronics and power generation/service industries, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Business Develop Leader, Field Operations Leader, Commercial Director, Business Operations Director and Sr. Director of Quality, before starting his own business as a process improvement consultant. George is an Eagle Scout, former Scout Master and former President of the Hopkinton Scout Leaders Association.
