Buzzards Bay Habitat for Humanity is proud to launch its first new home construction project in New Bedford. This exciting milestone represents more than just building a house—it’s about creating opportunities for local families to achieve safe, stable, and affordable homeownership. Through the support of volunteers, donors, community partners, and future homeowners, this project will help strengthen neighborhoods and build a brighter future for generations to come.

We’re proud to have completed our most energy-efficient build to date, achieving Home Energy Ratings of -46 and -51. This beautifully designed duplex, created by Saltonstall Architects of Marion, provides an incredible home for two local mothers.
