Mike recently retired after a 40-year career as a designer and producer of marketing communications at three New England universities. In that time, he developed creative strategies, art directed and edited alumni magazines, supported fundraising campaigns, and built presentations for special events. His commitment to education includes having served on a school committee and volunteering for several town committees. Mike holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual arts and has studied engineering technology with a concentration in architectural and structural technology. He designed and supervised construction of his first home and cherishes his current dwelling—a 170-year-old cottage on New Bedford harbor.
